AUGUST’S TOPIC: NEVER AGAIN – What “Shelter In Place” should have taught you about your firm with Greg Doersching

We are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  Little by little, businesses are starting to reopen in various ways and companies will resume hiring levels that we were used to. One thing is for sure about the last few months: our industry, for the most part, was not nearly as prepared as they could have been for the slowdown. Sure, it’s true that nobody can predict events that trigger the immediate economic impact we just experienced, but that doesn’t change the fact that for the better part of a decade, most of our industry had been acting as if they had their hands on the easy button. We felt the next client was right around the corner, and if something became too difficult we could just move on because there was something else to take its place. Now that we have the benefit of hindsight, there are several key aspects of running your firm that you can choose to say “Never Again” to – no matter what the future holds.
